Project Overview
Client: Paytient
Industry: Healthcare Benefits / Events
Timeline: Several weeks
My Role: Brand Designer & Art Director
Paytient's presence at SHRM 2026 needed to cut through the noise of a massive conference floor and create a memorable touchpoint with healthcare benefits decision-makers. I led the complete creative direction, designing a booth experience that balanced brand visibility with genuine engagement.
The booth architecture itself became the hero: a bold angular structure with a distinctive orange panel anchoring the space, featuring portrait photography and the "Are you a Believer in Better?" message that echoed Paytient's broader positioning. The design was intentionally approachable yet premium, inviting attendees into the space rather than just walking past.
But the standout element was the interactive belief wall—an engaging activation that asked attendees to complete "I believe better healthcare means..." The handwritten responses (visible in the photos) created an authentic moment of connection and gave the booth real social currency; people wanted to add their voice and see what others had written.
The collateral reinforced the brand at every level: custom pins and badges with the "Believer in Better" messaging and year, branded team apparel that created visual cohesion on the floor, and supporting print materials. Each piece was designed to work together as a system, not just isolated items.
The booth succeeded in generating qualified leads and creating conversations with key decision-makers in healthcare benefits—proof that thoughtful design and strategy can make a real difference even in a crowded trade show environment.
