My Role: Designer & Bookbinder
Koloman Moser was one of the most influential figures of the Vienna Secession — a designer whose work bridged fine art and functional design at the turn of the 20th century. This project was a catalog created for a solo exhibition of his work, designed to honor the craftsmanship and precision that defined his practice.
The catalog was handmade from start to finish — designed, printed, and bound using traditional Japanese binding techniques, with a custom bookmark included. Every detail was considered: the binding method, the paper choice, the typography. It's one of the earliest pieces in this portfolio, and still one of the most tactile.
